SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH

Joseph Arthur has lent his talents to provide the soundtrack for the Public Service Announcement for 'A Place At The Table', a three-year U.S. anti-hunger media campaign.

Joseph arranged and performed a version of the song "What A Wonderful World" specially for the new 'Fuel the Potential' campaign video released on January 4th 2017. Joseph's rich deep register is a perfect fit for this song that was first recorded by Louis Armstrong in 1967.

The full track was released January 13th 2017 and is available to buy/listen to via various digital outlets, e.g. Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, etc. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this single will go to Food Policy Action Education Fund (FPA-EF).

You can watch the campaign video featuring Joseph's recording of the song and support the cause by going to the website http://www.foodisfuel.org/ or also on << YouTube >>. The First Lady Michelle Obama appears in the first PSA to launch the campaign and ends with the message "Let's fuel the potential of every child". There will also be a series of photo ads featuring top artists, celebrities, writers, athletes, and leaders taken by award-winning photographer Danny Clinch. If you want to find out more about #FoodIsFuel read the press release and watch the trailer for the 2013 documentary 'A Place At The Table'.
